Official map of the Baku Metro

This is one of the first projects that I did for the Baku Metro since our collaboration has started. The old map of the metro was unclear and the new version needed as soon as possible.

Many times, during my daily commute, I saw how foreigners couldn't navigate by the metro map and were forced to ask how to ride.
My first step was to figure out what exactly confusing people. I compiled a questionnaire and asked my Facebook friends who have never visited Baku to fill it out. Results are in follows diagram:
There are two main lines in the Baku metro. Part of the way, all trains pass along the same section of the tunnel, but then the tunnel splits into two different directions. Therefore, in most cases, commuters do not need to make a transfer to get to their destination, they just need to wait for the train moving in the corresponding direction. I realized that this fact was not shown on the old map, and people were confused.
Old scheme
Under the project, I have developed: the main version of the map and horizontal version for a narrow panel above the doors of wagons. Also, I made a conceptual map of the Baku metro.
New results that obtained after a survey of a new group of people who also have never been in Baku:
